Vancouver Island University’s (VIU) Spring Arts & Humanities Colloquium Series will take audience members on a journey through the theatre of grotesque.

Island 6, as it is temporarily named, departed Damen Shipyards Galati in Romania Oct. 11 on a 72-day transoceanic journey.

The subsea fibre optics cable will run more than 3,400 kilometres along the coast of B.C., including a link to Haida Gwaii and around Vancouver Island.
