The Oceanside local health area leads the Island for third doses at 29 per cent of people 12 and older.
The Parksville Community Centre vaccination clinic is set to close on Sept. 6 — residents will still be able to get the vaccine at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre.
B.C. reported 800 new cases of COVID-19 today, 39 of them were in Island Health where there are now 233 active cases.
B.C. plans to vaccinate 400,000 residents by early April, according to Dr. Bonnie Henry, provincial health officer.
There are 161 active #COVID19 cases in the central island region, up five since yesterday.
There are 156 active #COVID19 cases in the central island region, up six since yesterday.
There are 150 active #COVID19 cases in the central island region, up 10 since yesterday.
There are 140 active #COVID19 cases in the central island region, up seven since yesterday.
There are 133 active #COVID19 cases in the central island region, up 37 since Friday.
There are 96 active #COVID19 cases in the central island region, down one since yesterday.
