Romania

About one-third of the voyage from Romania was completed by using battery power with the main engines stopped, according to BC Ferries.
BC Ferries said depending on the weather, it will take about 60 days to make the voyage.
The vessel departed Damen Shipyards Galati in Romania on May 19 on a 64 day, 10,700 nautical mile transatlantic journey to Vancouver Island.
BC Ferries said it expects the ship to arrive in B.C. by mid-August.
The ship is the fourth in a series of six new Island Class ferries joining the BC Ferries fleet and the second of four to sail from Romania to B.C. under its own power.
