The board did not carry a recommendation from the RDN COW to allocate $32,000 of to the LCMRS to help pay for a working washroom and female crew member change room, as well as new night vision equipment.
B.C. ground search and rescue crews have responded to more than 300 additional callouts this year, according to the province.
