A warmer and wetter weather pattern is on the way for east Vancouver Island and it could bring localized flooding and high stream levels.
A “significant atmospheric river” continues to bring high amounts of precipitation to east Vancouver Island, according to Environment Canada.
The Bowser area could see between 75-150 mm of rain over two days, starting Friday morning.
The special weather statement is in effect for the region from Nanoose Bay to Fanny Bay.
