Garry Young, who lives in the town’s Chartwell subdivision, presented a petition with 556 signatures from neighbourhood residents during council’s Oct. 6 regular meeting.
“This is a key project for the town, which will further utilize our prized waterfront and stimulate tourism in peak and shoulder seasons,” Mayor Brian Wiese said.
