The Board of Education has announced that Phil Munro will be joining School District No. 69 (Qualicum) in the role of director of operations, effective May 24.
During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 255 complaints, including a potted Bonsai tree reported stolen in the 400 block of Yambury Road, Qualicum Beach.
MVIHES is promoting salmon-friendly lawns through a Yellow Fish program, where residents who pledge to not water their lawns or use chemical herbicides and pesticides will receive a yellow fish sign to help promote the message of water conservation.
During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 260 complaints, including reports of Canada Post boxes being vandalized in Parksville, Nanoose Bay, Qualicum Beach and French Creek. It is unknown how much, if any, mail was stolen.
