The applications for dismissal of Morse’s and the society cases seeks general, aggravated and punitive damage, as well as reimbursement from the Todsens for the cost of the application.
The QNPS said it has filed for a dismissal of the civil claim for defamation, pursuant to the Protection of Public Participation Act.

Deborah McKinley filed a response to the claim on June 3 and asked the courts to dismiss all relief sought against her.

Kelland Food Holdings filed a civil claim against Coun. Teunis Westbroek in May because of comments regarding its store that was destroyed by fire in 2002.
During this time period the Oceanside RCMP said it received 320 complaints, including illegal garbage dumping, stolen catalytic converters and vandalism.
The Qualicum Beach project, which is a partnership between the province and the Qualicum Parksville Kiwanis Housing Society, is one of six on the island to receive funding.
