“I have no problem helping out, but our taxpayers are paying for something that is not in our borders again,” Coun. Robert Filmer said, adding he hopes the assistance is returned to the town in the future.
“I hope we are not taking the lens for what’s best for us as politicians, but what’s best for the people we are trying to actually provide services for,” said Coun. Scott Harrison.
Coun. Scott Harrison called the reduction in height a “huge mistake.” “This is the one time we were actually going to make significant progress and we are walking away from that progress and we are calling it prudence. It’s a disgrace.”
