During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 218 complaints, including a business break and enter in Qualicum Beach.
A man was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries after he was struck by a suspected impaired driver on the Island Highway north of Lantzville on Jan. 11.
During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 224 complaints, including a report of a vandalized public washroom in Parksville Community Park.
During this time period Oceanside RCMP received 242 complaints, including a child’s play shelter damaged in Parksville.
Since 2016, a local family, who wish to remain anonymous, has donated money, purchased items and decorated hampers for families in need in the area.
During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 213 complaints, including a 400 lb ornamental cannon reported stolen from a Nanoose Bay property.
Oceanside RCMP dealt with 103 traffic-related complaints in November.
One resident initially received a call by someone pretending to be a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) agent and was told their social insurance number was compromised and being used in money laundering through real estate transactions.
During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 221 complaints, including a truck stolen in the Parksville area.
Qualicum Beach Fire Department (QBFD) and Emergency Management Oceanside (EMO) have been recognized for supporting police while they investigated a triple murder in a rural area of Qualicum Beach.
