The Federation of Canadian Artists’ Arrowsmith Chapter will hold its first major public show since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic at the McMillan Arts Centre (MAC) in Parksville this spring.
The PERSPECTIVES collection features the work of six photographers’ and their perspectives on photography and how it impacts an image-saturated world.
Three new exhibitions by local artists are coming to the McMillan Arts Centre (MAC) this month. The work will be on display from Jan. 18 – Feb. 27.
A new exhibit is coming to the Bayside Gallery in Parksville from Jan. 4 – March 31, 2022, featuring the work of three local artists.
The McMillan Arts Centre (MAC) has received a $2,500 donation from EPCOR, through its Heart + Soul Fund, in support of the MAC’s art therapy programs.
Each painting was a collaborative effort by three artists, who were assigned a third of the canvas, but did not know what their partners were painting.
Parksville will be one of at least 55 communities in B.C. and over 1,000 across Canada participating in this year’s Culture Days.
Forty paintings from Richard Alm’s Spatialist Nouveau: the rise of structured canvas in the art world will be displayed in the McMillan Arts Centre from June 1 – 27.
