The province’s lowest paid workers will get a 45 cent pay raise on June 1, bringing their hourly wage to $15.65.
“We’ve been saying for years that licensing, training and enforcement are crucial to preventing further exposures and more deaths,” said Laird Cronk, BC Federation of Labour president.
