The third in a series of atmospheric rivers is expected to impact coastal B.C. beginning tonight, according to the province.
The provincial state of emergency will remain in place until midnight on Nov. 30.
The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) will host a disaster recovery webinar on Nov. 25 to assist residents and evacuees affected by the recent flooding.
The assistance is available to homeowners, residential tenants, business owners, local governments, Indigenous communities, farmers and charitable organizations that were unable to obtain insurance to cover disaster-related losses.
