Chesapeake Shores will soon begin filming a new season in Parksville.

Two of Qualicum Beach’s youngest actors will soon make their movie debut.

Filming will take place at the Arbutus Point roundabout and on the beach near the point on June 26, the city said in a media release.

Small sections of parking will be coned off on Beachside Drive in the park while crews are setting up and filming. There will be intermittent road detours on May 28, the city said.

Filming will take place outside, to the south and back of the PCTC building, along the roadway and grassy hill, according to the city.

Filming will happen both inside and outside the building, with strict COVID-19 restrictions, the city said.

Chesapeake Shores will be filming at several locations in Parksville and Qualicum Beach this week.
