Town of Qualicum Beach terminates air carrier’s lease after ‘security breach’

The town began to investigate after receiving a complaint about Oceanside Air staff consuming alcohol during a birthday party in the airport on Nov. 11.

Second carrier to offer scheduled flights from Qualicum Beach to Vancouver

There will be five scheduled flights to Vancouver per weekday, said owner Pavel Novak.

Airline to begin scheduled flights between Qualicum Beach and Vancouver in early August

There has been no scheduled service at Qualicum Beach airport since April 2020 and Iskwew Air said it found overwhelming interest after consulting with residents in June.

Airline hopes to restore flights from Qualicum Beach to Vancouver

Iskwew Air could start service with two or three flights per week and continue to expand in response to demand, according to Teara Fraser, founder and lead executive.
