Parksville municipal election set for Oct. 15

Parksville voters will go to the polls on Oct. 15 to elect a new city council.

Voters will be able to cast a ballot between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. at Parksville Community Centre (132 Jensen Avenue East) and Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church.

There will also be advanced voting opportunities on Oct. 5 and Oct. 12, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Parksville Community Centre, according to a media release from the city.

Local government elections in B.C. are held every four years. Parksville council is made up of a mayor and six councillors.
