Latest Oceanside News

The Federation of Canadian Artists’ Arrowsmith Chapter will hold its first major public show since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic at the McMillan Arts Centre (MAC) in Parksville this spring.

The Moving Forward juried exhibition, featuring over 90 works of art, will run from March 29 to May 1. Visitors will be able to meet the artists and vote for their favourite piece when they attend the award presentation at 1 p.m. on April 2.

“The artists are excited to present some of their best works. This show celebrates the importance and depth of our community in art,” reads a media release by the MAC.

The Federation of Canadian Artists will also host an online presentation of the exhibit.
