RCMP ‘Cram the Cruiser’ food bank drive returns this weekend

Oceanside RCMP, Oceanside Community Safety and Save-On-Foods Parksville are teaming up for a food drive in support of the Mount Arrowsmith Salvation Army Food Bank this Saturday (March 12).

Residents can drop off a contribution between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the 818 Island Highway East Save-On-Foods location, according to Mike Garland, Oceanside Community Safety administrator.

Non-perishable items needed at this time of year include canned goods, rice and hygiene products.

Financial donations can also be made online.
