The Duke Point ferry terminal will be closed for ramp upgrades on March 5.

Sailings will operate out of the Departure Bay terminal for one day while the ramp’s hydraulic valves and control system are upgraded, according to a BC Ferries media release.

This change requires a modified schedule for the Tsawwassen – Duke Point route (which will  temporarily become the Tsawwassen – Departure Bay route).

The last sailing from Tsawwassen on March 4 will depart at its usual 10:45 p.m. sailing time, but instead of travelling to Duke Point, the ship will off-load at Departure Bay.

The route will then operate out of Departure Bay for the duration March 5. Service between Tsawwassen and Duke Point will resume March 6, according to BC Ferries.
