RCMP are asking people to be on the lookout for a man recently charged with several sexual offences.
Caleb Gerbrandt, 40, went missing from his home in Salmon Arm, along with his two daughters Eliyah, 14, and Avery, 13, according to an RCMP media release.
Gerbrandt was recently charged with sexual interference and sexual assault on a minor. Both daughters were to be staying at their grandparents’ residence.
Police believe Gerbrandt is in the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island area.
“We believe that Caleb is actively evading police. He is required to abide by a curfew and be inside his Salmon Arm residence every night, a condition which he is now breaching. A warrant has now been issued for his arrest,” said Staff Sgt. Scott West, Salmon Arm RCMP detachment commander.
Police believe Gerbrandt and his daughters are traveling in a 2006 Grey Dodge Grand Caravan with BC licence plate NE961N.
Salmon Arm RCMP asks anyone with information which may help to locate Gerbrandt to call their local police or the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044.
