The 44-year-old woman reported missing has been found safe, according to Nanaimo RCMP.

Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating a missing woman with ties to the Parksville area.
Jolene Nass, 44, has not been seen since around 1 a.m. on Jan. 2, according to an RCMP media release. A 911 call was made on that day from a phone registered to Nass. Operators made multiple attempts to call the phone number back, but were unsuccessful.
Police believe the cell phone was turned off or its battery died shortly after the call was made.
Investigators believe Nass may be driving her vehicle, a grey 4-door 2004 Saturn Vue, with B.C. license plate KX345G. Nass is currently of no fixed address, but does have family and friends who reside in the Parksville area, according to RCMP.
Nass is 5 ft.6, 140 lbs and the picture above is recent. Anyone with information on the location of Nass can call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file #2022-97.
