Society of Organized Services (SOS) has reported its thrift shop truck was stolen in Parksville yesterday (Dec. 16).

The vehicle is a 2012 Ford E450 with license plates JG5 424, the organization said in a social media post.

“Please help us spread the word and just maybe, we will see it again! Thank you for your help!” reads a Facebook post from Dec. 16.

SOS asked anyone who spots the stolen truck to call Oceanside RCMP at 250-248-6111.

Police are canvassing for video surveillance of the theft, according to Sgt. Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP.
