City of Parksville offices will be closed for a few days over the holidays.
They will be closed on Dec. 27 and Dec. 28 for the Christmas holidays and again on Jan. 3 for the New Year’s Day statutory holiday. City offices will be open on Dec. 24, 29, 30 and 31, according to a media release from the city.
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day all fall on weekend days this year.
The city’s operations department is on call during all non-working hours, including weekends and holidays. For an after hours city operations emergency, residents should call 250-248-6144 (4 p.m to 8 a.m., Monday to Friday, weekends and holidays), according to the city.
“The city would like to take this opportunity to extend best wishes to our residents for a most Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy and prosperous 2022,” reads the media release.
