Vehicle fuel line cut in Parksville — Oceanside Crime Report Nov. 29–Dec. 4

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 221 complaints, including a truck stolen in the Parksville area.

Found

-A Garmin watch was found in the 500 block of Hampstead Street, Parksville, on Dec. 2. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

Stolen vehicle

-A 2006 Toyota Sienna, BC plate CA809X, was reported stolen in the 900 block of Lee Road West, Parksville, on Dec. 2.  The vehicle has not been recovered.

Break and enter

-A break and enter to a gate house was reported at Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park on Nov. 30. Damage estimated under $500. 

Theft

-BC plate NB382M was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Moilliet Street North, Parksville, on Nov. 29.

-California plate 6V0Z31 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Tanglewood Place, Parksville, on Nov. 29.

-BC plate AL173X was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2500 block of Alberni Highway, Coombs, on Nov. 29.

-BC plate PG2178 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Grafton Avenue, Errington, on Nov. 30. 

-Change was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Morningstar Close, Parksville, on Nov. 30.

-Change and a wallet were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Lanyon Drive, Parksville, in Dec. 1. No damage noted to vehicle.

-A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Horne Lake Road, Qualicum Beach, on Dec. 2.

-A stereo and subwoofer were among the items reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Greenwood Way, Parksville, on Dec. 2. Also reported stolen was a gold colour Kona Fire mountain bicycle from the yard.

-A Milwaukee quick charger and three batteries were reported stolen from a construction site in the 800 block of Doehle Avenue, Parksville, on Dec. 2.

Property damage

-Irrigation sprinkler heads were reported damaged in the 200 block of Jensen Avenue, Parksville, on Nov. 29. A male was arrested and referred to Restorative Justice in agreement with property owner.

-The fuel line of a vehicle was reported cut in the 400 block of Island Highway East, Parksville, on Nov. 30. 

Vandalism 

-Graffiti was reported sprayed on a fence in the 1500 block of Meadowood Way, Qualicum, on Nov. 30. 

-A vehicle was vandalized in the 100 block of Beachside Drive, Parksville, on Dec. 2. A male was apprehended and arrested.

Trespassing

-A prowler was reported in the 1100 block of Ormonde Road, Qualicum Beach, on Dec. 2.
