Oceanside RCMP hope to return a large amount of money found in the parking lot of a Parksville hardware store to its rightful owner.
“In order to identify the rightful owner, the owner will have to confirm specific details of their lost money so we are satisfied it is being reunited with the correct person,” said Sgt. Shane Worth.
The cash was found on Nov. 19 and turned into police, according to an RCMP media release.
Police are still looking for the owner of money found in Qualicum Beach earlier this month.
