Nanaimo RCMP hope to return a dinghy found afloat near a log boom off Protection Island on Nov. 19.
The eight foot inflatable Highfield dinghy has blue and grey stripes, two oars and is currently being stored with the person who found it, according to a media release by Const. Gary O’Brien, media relations officer.
Anyone with information on the inflatable’s owner can call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file #2021-43074.
