The city’s ParksvilleMAP has received a facelift. The new version can be accessed through the City of Parksville’s website under Online Services or in the QuickLinks.

The city said the old iVault version was obsolete and needed replacement. Users will find improved functionality throughout the map.

“We’ve tried to keep appearances between the old and new similar to help ease transition to the new map,” the city said in a release.

To assist users with some of these new features, documentation with screen shots has been provided on the disclaimer page. Users can also click on the “?” widget at the top of the map.

The city said residents with questions or comments can email gis@parksville.ca or phone Randy Hall at 250-951-2485.
