The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance locating a woman missing since Oct. 22.

Isabelle Schopf, 22, was last seen around 5 p.m. leaving Nanaimo Regional General Hospital against medical advice, according to a release from RCMP. As a result, police and her family are worried for her safety and well-being.

Schopf is an Indigenous woman, 5 ft. 6, 115 lbs with a light complexion, according to police. She currently has her hair dyed blue, has a tattoo of a dragon under her collar bone and a butterfly tattoo on her right wrist. The picture provided is recent.

Schopf has been known to frequent locations in Nanaimo and Oceanside and RCMP believe she may be trying to reach the Lower Mainland.

Anyone with information about the location of Schopf can call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file #2021-39656.
