The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for public assistance in locating 44-year-old Jason Diraddo.
Investigators were contacted by his mother last week and informed she has not heard from her son since July, according to a release from RCMP.
Diraddo is of no fixed address and is known to utilize emergency resources in Nanaimo, police said. Officers have checked various homeless encampments and areas where marginalized people are known to gather, but with no success or leads on where he may be.
Diraddo is 5 ft.7, 150 lbs and the picture provided is recent. Police said he has a tattoo of a bulldog on his upper left arm.
