The Town of Qualicum Beach will hold a public hearing on a zoning amendment that, if passed, would permit two single-family dwellings on two separate parcels at 245 Mill Road, with each parcel permitted a garden suite or secondary suite.
The amendment would change the zoning classification from Residential 14 (R14) to Residential 19 (R19), according to the town.
The property consists of two separate parcels, so subdivision of the property is not required.
The public hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Oct. 6 during council’s virtual regular meeting. Residents may register to speak during meeting via Zoom by visiting the town’s website, emailing wgould@qualicumbeach.com or calling 250-738-2190.
