Students contemplating the next step in their post-secondary education can attend Vancouver Island University’s (VIU) first-ever online Graduate Programs Expo on Sept. 15.
The expo will provide a chance for students to meet instructors and ask questions about programs, according to a media release from VIU. Attendees will also be able to learn about support services, such as scholarships, internships and research opportunities. The expo is also meant to give students a sense of what graduate school is like and how it is different from an undergraduate program.
The event will be hosted through an online event platform that allows participants to scan the different program booths and visit with faculty, according to VIU. Participants will be automatically entered into a contest to win a $1,000 tuition credit towards their fall 2022 semester tuition.
VIU said it offers a range of graduate options, from master’s degrees, to advanced diplomas, to certificates.
