Nanaimo RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for a man charged with voyeurism and possession of child pornography.

Michael Gordon Lowry, 69, of Nanaimo recently missed a scheduled appearance in provincial court related to an August 2019 investigation that saw RCMP seize various electronics. Police examined the items and found evidence to support the original allegations, according to a media release from Nanaimo RCMP.

In November 2019, Lowry was arrested in the Lower Mainland and later released on conditions, according to police.

Lowry is 6 ft. 1, 200 lbs and bald with blue eyes. The picture provided was taken at the time of his arrest in November of 2019, according to RCMP.
