The City of Parksville will upgrade the sidewalk on Despard Avenue at the entrance to the parking lot for Springwood Park.
The work will begin Monday morning (Aug. 16) and is expected to take three days, weather dependent, according to a media released by the city.
“We recognize this is a well-used area with access to the off-leash dog park and the tennis courts from Despard Avenue. Please expect occasional delays as work proceeds and follow the instructions of traffic personnel,” reads the release.
