House egged, food delivery stolen from home — Oceanside Crime Report July 25–31

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP said it received 294 complaints.  

Vandalism

-A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 4500 block of Callow Road, Bowser, on July 25. 

-A residence was reported egged in the 2300 block of Higginson Road, Nanoose Bay, on July 26.

Theft

-A red Nintendo Switch was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Beachside Drive, Parksville on July 27. 

-Two vehicles were reported rummaged through in the 1800 block of Craig Drive, Nanoose Bay, on July 28. An air compressor, binoculars and speakers were taken.

-A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of Esslinger Road, Parksville, on July 28.

-A black and yellow trim 2015 Specialized mountain bike was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Resort Drive, Parksville, on July 29.

-Two fishing rods and a grey and blue tackle box were reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of Despard and Alberni Highway, Parksville, on July 29. 

-A wallet and paper towels were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Pym Street North, Parksville, on July 30.

Break and enter

-A residential break and enter was reported in the 600 block of Doehle Avenue, Parksville, on July 31. A food delivery valued at $60 was reported stolen.

Found

-A black iPhone in a white and black Scosche case was found near Higginson Road, on July 27. Contact Oceanside RCMP during business hours to claim.

-A black iPhone was found in the 100 block of Ford Avenue, Parksville, on July 28. Contact Oceanside RCMP during business hours to claim.

-A Samsung S21 phone was found in the area of Horne Lake Road and Horne Lake Caves Road, Qualicum Beach, on July 30. Contact Oceanside RCMP during business hours to claim.

Prowler

-A nighttime prowler was reported in the 300 block of Parker Road West, Qualicum Beach, on July 29.

-A nighttime prowler was reported in the 6900 block of Island Highway West, Bowser, on July 31.
