Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help finding a man who has not been in contact with his family since February.

His family, who reside in another province, contacted police on May 27 because they are concerned for his safety and wellbeing, RCMP said.

Jordan Dyer, 39, is 5 ft. 11, 200 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. Police said the picture provided is recent. His family told police he lives a transient lifestyle and may be involved in Nanaimo’s drug culture, RCMP said.

Dyer was last seen by police on May 8 in downtown Nanaimo.

Anyone who knows his location can contact Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, and quote file # 2021-19298.
