Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating a woman reported missing by her mother, who lives on Prince Edward Island.

Amy Watts, 27, was reported missing on May 27 and has not had any contact with her family since February, according to police.

This behaviour is out of character for Watts and her family is extremely concerned for her safety and well-being, RCMP said.

Watts is 5 ft. 4, 120 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes — police said the photo provided was taken in January.

She sometimes refers to herself as Amy Coady and investigators are currently following up on reports of possible sightings of her in downtown Nanaimo.

Anyone with information on Watts’ location can call the RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, and quote file # 2021-19252.
