COVID-19 exposure reported at Errington Elementary School

School District 69 has learned of a confirmed COVID-19 case at Errington Elementary School.

The date of exposure is April 22 — the school district said it learned of the case on April 28.

Island Health contact tracing was concluded by the evening of April 28 and all members of the school community will have received direct communication from the school, according to the school district.

Anyone who has not received a phone call from public health officials is advised by the school district to continue to attend school and monitor for COVID-19 symptoms as per BCCDC guidelines.
