The Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce selected its board members during a virtual annual general meeting on April 21.
Chair Matt Breedlove said nominations for three director positions and treasurer were received after being advertised in the chamber’s newsletter. Year end financial statements were reviewed and passed by members and the annual report highlighting chamber activities over the year was presented, he added.
“As a resident of Qualicum Beach for 37 years I’ve experienced numerous changes in our beautiful community. It gives me great pleasure to have the opportunity to give back and work with such a diverse and talented board of directors,” said Breedlove.
“We all share the same feelings of keeping our quaint town vibrant, enjoyable, sustainable and one of the best places in Canada to live, shop and play.”
