School district announces COVID-19 exposures at Kwalikum Secondary School

School District 69 said it has learned of multiple COVID-19 exposures at Kwalikum Secondary School (KSS). 

The first potential exposure dates are March 29, 30 and 31, according to the school district. 

School District 69 said it received notification of another exposure at KSS, with potential exposure dates of March 29, 30, 31 and April 1. It did not say if the individuals were students or staff members.

Public health staff have completed contact tracing to identify any individuals needing to self-isolate and self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms. A general notification to the school community regarding the first reported exposure was issued on the evening of April 2 and a general notification to the school community regarding the second reported exposure was issued on the evening of April 4.

Anyone who has not received a phone call form public health officials is asked to continue attending school and monitor for symptoms.
