Nanaimo RCMP is looking for a man wanted for breach of probation.
The warrant for Stuart Forrest’s arrest was issued by Abbotsford Police, but Nanaimo RCMP said it was notified Forrest, 31, is believed to be in the area.
He is considered violent and has a history of possessing weapons, including replica firearms, police said.
Forrest is 5 ft. 9, 190 lbs, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He has numerous tattoos and has connections throughout central Vancouver Island, according to RCMP. The picture provided is recent.
