Emergency Management Oceanside (EMO) will hold a virtual workshop to help people prepare for potential emergency situations.
“The ongoing pandemic reminds us of the importance of personal preparedness and that having a plan is critical to protect ourselves and our families,” reads a new release from EMO. “While we continue to physically distance and spend more time at home, there’s an opportunity to build emergency preparedness plans to fit our individual personal needs.”
The event will be hosted on Zoom on March 11. EMO asks those interested to RSVP to info@emergencyoceanside.ca. Anybody who has specific topics or questions they wish to see covered in the presentation can send them via email.
EMO said it hopes the workshop will help raise awareness and offer information and tips to help prepare businesses, individuals and families be prepared for the possibility of an emergency.
