Nanaimo RCMP ask for public’s help in missing person case

Police are asking for public assistance in locating a Nanaimo woman missing since Jan. 21.

RCMP said Tammy Riley, 45, may have been in Vancouver, on her way to Manitoba to visit family, when she stopped communicating by phone. 

Police initiated a missing person investigation on Jan. 26 after being notified by an acquaintance of Riley.

RCMP said Riley is White, 5 ft. 7, 180 lbs with blonde hair and blue eyes. The picture provided is recent and she has a tattoo of a flower on her left shoulder.

Anyone with information on the location of Riley can call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file #2021-3065.
