Two warrants have been issued for a Nanaimo man in relation to property related offences throughout central Vancouver Island.

Jesse Savidant, 34, is wanted for possession of stolen property and breach of a release order, according to Nanaimo RCMP.

The warrants were issued after Savidant failed to appear in Nanaimo provincial court in December last year. Police said efforts to locate him have failed.

Savidant is Indigenous, 5 ft. 10 and 170 lbs — he has no fixed address.

He has been the subject of numerous police investigations ranging from Port Alberni, Oceanside to Westshore. The picture provided is recent.

Police said Savidant has several tattoos — one of a rose on his left arm, flames on his right arm and “TRIBAL” on his right upper arm. He has contacts throughout central Vancouver Island and RCMP said he should be considered violent.

If you have information on the whereabouts of Savidant, please call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file #2020-37470.
