Oceanside RCMP received 288 complaints between Oct. 25 and Oct. 31. Police ask anyone who has info on these incidents to phone the Oceanside RCMP non-emergency number at 250-248-6111.

Theft

Iphone theft (File #2020-11103)

An iPhone 8 was reported stolen from a customer at a business in the 100 block of Middleton Avenue, Parksville, on Oct. 26. Video of the male suspect was provided to the RCMP.

Stolen mountain bikes (File #2020-11142)

A black Marin Bobcat Trail 4 mountain bike and a black Marin mountain bike with bright blue pedals were reported stolen in the 700 block of Bradbury Avenue, Parksville, on Oct. 27.

Stolen cell phones (File #2020-11135)

A bin of used cell phones were reported stolen in the 100 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on Oct. 27.

Break and Enter (File #2020-11161)

A business break-and-enter was reported in the100 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on Oct. 28. Damage to the building and small amount of cash were reported stolen.

Stolen facility pass card (File #2020-11167)

A facility pass card was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Resort Drive, Parksville on Oct. 28.

Bluetooth speaker theft (File #2020-11207)

Cash, candy and a Bluetooth speaker were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Valdez Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on Oct. 29.

Found property 

Rings found (File #2020-11100)

Two rings were found in the public washroom at Little Qualicum Falls on Aug. 12, and reported to police on Oct. 26. Please contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

Vehicle Offences

Siphoned fuel and stolen batteries (File #2020-11251)

Four batteries and fuel were reported syphoned from vehicles in the 3000 block of Skyview Road, Lantzville,on Oct. 30.

Vehicle window smashed (File #2020-11122)

A vehicle window was reported smashed and the vehicle was rummaged through in the 800 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on Oct. 27.

Vehicle rummaged through (File #2020-11203)

A vehicle was rummaged through in the 200 block of Thetis Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on Oct. 29.

Abandoned vehicle (File #2020-11330)

A reported abandoned vehicle with expired insurance was impounded at the 5800 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach, on Oct. 31.

Property damage

Business window smashed (File #2020-11132)

A business’ window was damaged in the 800 block of Island Highway West, Parksville on Oct. 27.

Glass door shattered (File #2020-11299)

A glass door was reported smashed in the 1300 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on Oct 31.
