BC Ferries launched its new mobile-friendly website today. The new service will let riders reserve and manage reservations online and access updated schedules and information about current conditions, according to a BC Ferries press release.

Users will be able to access real-time daily and seasonal schedules for all routes on their mobile devices. A new trip planning tool will allow customers to find a sailing and calculate the fare before travelling.

When users check for current conditions on the website they will now see the percentage of space available, rather than full.

Anyone with an existing account does not need to recreate their online account, but will need to verify their email address and password the first they log in with the new website.

Customers on Northern and Central Coast routes can now book and pay for vehicle and passenger fares online, including resident fares.

The BC Ferries and BC Ferries Vacations websites have now been combined into one.

“Creating a customized vacation package with hotel and ferry in the same booking is now more convenient. Customers can choose from over 140 hotels and 35 activities in 65 destinations throughout B.C,” said BC Ferries in the press release.
